Meet our Clinical team
Every patient is seen by a UK-registered consultant psychiatrist, working as part of a small, specialist team. No call centres, no rotating clinicians, no algorithm-led prescribing.
Our Regulators
Settle is independently regulated by the UK's two key healthcare authorities. Click each to view our registration details.
Our consultant psychiatrists
The clinician who diagnoses you is the one who titrates, reviews, and prescribes for you long-term. You'll be matched with one, and that's the psychiatrist you'll see, from your first call to your annual review.

How our clinicians are regulated
Every Settle clinician is a UK-registered Consultant Psychiatrist regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC). The GMC is the independent regulator for doctors practising in the United Kingdom - every Settle psychiatrist holds full GMC registration with a specialist licence to practise in psychiatry, and is on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry.
Settle's clinical services are delivered by Curate Health Limited, the regulated clinical entity behind Settle, which holds independent registration with the Care Quality Commission. Medication is dispensed by Curate Pharmacy, our in-house pharmacy, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
You can verify any Settle clinician's registration on the GMC's online register at gmc-uk.org.
A message from our Medical Director
When I first started working in adult ADHD, the patients I saw were almost always exhausted before they got to me. Years of NHS waitlists, GP rejections, private services that prescribed and disappeared, and the slow erosion of believing themselves about their own brain.
Settle was built to be different. Every patient sees a consultant psychiatrist — not a pharmacist, not an algorithm, not a different person every six months. The clinician who diagnoses you is the clinician who titrates you, reviews you, and prescribes for you year after year. We're a small team by design. We'd rather see fewer patients well than more patients badly.
If you've been waiting, masking, or wondering — we built this for you.
Dr Doniert Mcfarlane
Our philosophy
We built Settle because ADHD care in the UK is broken in a specific, fixable way.
The NHS waitlist for adult ADHD assessment now sits at five to seven years in most regions. GPs are not trained or supported to refer in any consistent way. Many private providers prescribe and then disappear, leaving patients without follow-up care or annual reviews. And every step of the process - diagnosis, titration, ongoing care, repeat prescriptions - happens at a different place, with a different person, often with weeks of waiting between each.
Settle's model is the opposite. One clinician sees you from assessment to annual review. One pharmacy dispenses your medication. One brand is accountable for the whole experience. We've structured the business so the parts that usually fall apart - the handoffs, the gaps between providers, the lost prescriptions - can't happen, because there are no handoffs to fail.
We won't be right for every patient. If you want a quick, low-touch service that runs entirely on automation, there are cheaper providers. If what you want is to be properly diagnosed, properly medicated, and properly looked after - by the same psychiatrist, for as long as you need them - that's what we built.
